Being vegan is harder than it looks… especially if you were a full blown lover of meat, cheese and dairy. Here are some main tips and tricks on how to not fall off the wheel of veganism.

#1. Have Motivation! It took me about 4-5 attempts on becoming vegan before I sat myself down and told myself TODAY IS THE DAY. Try meditating and telling your mind and body that you will change in your lifestyle.

#2.  Get Educated. Find some facts about being vegan ( like where to get protein for a healthy diet) , look up some blogs with vegan recipes and the simple do and donts for being vegan.

#4.  Be compassionate. Be kind to yourself. If you slip off the wagon, don’t sweat it and get right back on. This a drastic change you are making and it takes some time.

#5.  Remind yourself why you went vegan in the first place. Maybe it’s to help protect animals, a healthier lifestyle or even to just detox yourself. Remind yourself because for many people it’s because they really care about sentient life. It’s very difficult to have anything to do with consuming animal products after reminding yourself of the hard facts.
